Saturday Night Crunch Time

Saturday night is always crunch time for me getting ready for my class on Sunday morning. I try to do as much as I can throughout the week, but it always seems to come down to the last minute. I like it though when what the Lord has spoken is still fresh on my heart. I love to teach the Word. I still get nervous every time I get up there and I always think I'm not prepared enough, but for me there is no better feeling in the world than seeing the Holy Spirit teach His Word through me and in spite of me. That's the point when I feel the lowest in my own self ability and the highest in His.

Tomorrow I'm finishing a course called "One LIFE" with a lesson called "One Thing". Paul says in Phil 3:13-14 "Brethren, I do not regard myself as having laid hold of it yet; but one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus." Are you reaching forward toward the life God has in His mind for you? Let go of the past, your self, your own desires, your own prizes in life and embrace the ones Jesus in offering you. Start now and run the race that is set before you with everything you've got. Run fast and strong and never look back. Run toward Jesus because He is the prize. He is worthy and He is all we need. He is the one thing that makes life abundant and full of joy and hope and love. Keep pressing forward, keep running strong.
