Confidence in Christ

God has been faithful again to give me a new word for this next year. Last year He spoke to me that I must be relentless in my pursuit of Him. As I end this year of relentlessly pursuing Him, I have discovered that it is Jesus who has been relentlessly pursuing me to pour out all the abundance of who He is into my life. I love him for that and a million other reasons. We will establish the gifts and revelation God gives us as we walk in obedience to them.

Now my new journey for this coming year is "Confidence in Christ". I am overwhelmed by the goodness and graciousness of God towards all who say yes to Him. Graham Cooke says people may perceive you as being a little arrogant at times when your a warrior. Many do not walk in or understand confidence in Christ, but I will discover it this year. I know the Holy Spirit is excited and can't wait to take me there, and I can't wait to go with Him.

I've been reading II Samuel and I love how King David becomes more and more confident in God and sure of who he is and who he has been anointed to be. He almost sounds arrogant, but confident in II Sam 6:21 21 "And David said to Michal, 'It was before the Lord, who chose me above your father and above all his house, to appoint me as prince over Israel, the people of the Lord—and I will make merry before the Lord.'
