Be Honest

I realize I've made lots of mistakes in my life. I have also said enthusiastically that I was going to do lots of things that I never did. Or worse, started and never finished. We all do. The trap is when we keep lying to ourselves believing we're accomplishing things when we're not. We like living in a state of expectation, always looking for the next exciting thing to do. When we come up against the work it takes to press thru, we often loose interest. Just be honest with yourself. Be realistic and set some goals you can achieve no matter how small. It's better to finish well than to start and never finish.
