Blame or accept responsibility

It's easy to blame someone else for a problem. We like to blame the government or the media or our boss or another leader. I'm convinced that social media was invented as a platform for people to blame other people. Why not use all that time and energy to accept responsibility for the problem. I know, I know, it's not your problem and it's not your fault. Thats OK, you'll be fine. Just stop and think for a moment about how you can help with the problem. Taking care of the planet is a really big problem, but we can all stop using plastic bags for example. When you accept responsibility for something, your focus shifts from pointless blaming to doing something constructive. The small part you can play may not be obvious at first, but with a little effort, you will always find a positive way to help make things better.
