Merrian Webster's definition of a heratic is "A person who differs in opinion from established religious dogma." Doesn't that happen every time we learn something new? Maybe it's just me, but I think its good for established doctrine to be questioned from time to time. Doctrines should be honored and respected, but they are not beyond questioning and differing opinions.
