1 Thessalonians 4:1

1 Thessalonians 4:1 (ESV) "Finally, then, brothers, we ask and urge you in the Lord Jesus, that as you received from us how you ought to walk and to please God, just as you are doing, that you do so more and more."

As a parent, teacher, and friend, I am always careful about the advice I share with others. My words alone are pointless. We can only walk in truth received from the Holy Spirit. Paul was always careful to point out that the truth comes only from God and not man.

What pleases the Lord is the union of truth and practice. Paul says we ought to always walk in the truth we have received from the Lord. This is true relational connection with God. This is the place where God and humanity dwell together.

Take Paul's words here for yourself and build a life of doing this more and more.
